Cross Country Camp
Designed to help athletes of all levels prepare for the fall Cross Country season and/or improve their running skills and fitness.
What: Designed to help athletes of all levels prepare for the fall Cross Country season and/or improve their running skills and fitness. Runners will be grouped by fitness and ability level. Classroom instruction will supplement the afternoon workouts.
Where: Report to the east bleachers on the football field on the first day of camp. On subsequent days you will board a CYO bus or school van and need to be at the White Zone by 12:45. Each day of running will feature a different location: various locations in Golden Gate Park, Crissy Field, and Land's End. The campers will travel to one of these destinations in order to vary running venues. Please complete and sign the Permission Slip and bring it with you to the first day of camp. Thank you!
Running Venues Schedule 2018 (all tentative and subject to change):
Monday: SI Track Tuesday: Sutro Park Wednesday: Stowe Lake Thursday: Crissy Field Friday: Polo Fields
Clothing & Equipment: Every runner should have good running shoes, socks, shorts, T-shirt, and sweats. Bring a water bottle and snack every day.
If you are registered for this camp, please bring Permission Slip on first day of camp.
